This isn’t saying this always hasn’t been the case, however it’s becoming more the case every day with the AI revolution.
All those dreamy hard-effort ideas I had tucked away in my todo list of “things I’ll someday build” are now being vibe coded by people and I see them on Hackernews every day. They had those same ideas I did all along, they just were finally able to jump on it, unlike me.
Likewise, any novel idea about how we can better use LLMs to build the next tools of tomorrow are also being vibe coded by someone right now as well.
Stop gatekeeping knowledge. Everyone is thinking the same things you are. Work together and let’s achieve the same goals together without duplicating work and burning tokens.
Make a blog, chat with people outside your company, publish to GitHub, make a Reddit or Hackernews post. The internet is the next company.
